Cappuccino frosted brownies

Happy Brownie Day!

I must admit that I’m not a huge fan of brownies. Sometimes they resemble fudge, which is just way too sweet for me. And often the center is too gooey as if it was under-baked. These brownies are the exception to all of that.
They were invented by a friend of mine. The cappuccino buttercream frosting is a perfect compliment to the brownies which aren’t too sweet.

Whenever I bring them to a party, I always bring the recipe, because I am always asked for it.  My only tip is to chill the frosted brownies before slicing, it just makes it easier. (Sometime soon I will have to try making them in muffin tins and piping the frosting on.)

  2. Have I mentioned before how much I love your sweets-centric posts? 🙂 Not a brownie fan either, but yours look yum. Bought the most amazing dark chocolate sea salt caramel truffles the other day and thought you ought to try it. Brand is “good & delish” (from Walgreens !?).
