The name aptly describes this candy. It really is crunchy in the center, kind of a hard nougat, and I expected it to be like a Butter Finger. It’s more like that old-fashioned candy called sea-foam, with a buttery taste, and wrapped in chocolate. As an import candy from the U.K., I would enjoying hearing an opinion from someone who grew up with this sweet. It’s a bit odd for my tastes, not bad, just different.

This is one of my favourite chocolate bars of all time. I love the honeycomb and everything, it’s just amazing *.*
I’ve just had a great time looking through your blog!
I love Crunchies!
They’re actually my husband’s favourite choc bar.
For some reason I always compare them to a violet crumble and while I love my crunchie bar, they don’t quite measure up to a violet crumble in my eyes. (My husband disagrees strongly by the way 🙂 )
Thanks, I must go and find a Violet Crumble, it will have to be at a fancy store that sells import candy.
