DIY Chocolate Bars

Posted on

In honor of National Chocolate Day (which was Saturday, how did I miss it?) Here’s a great site called Chocomize where you can create your own chocolate bar from Belgian milk, dark, or white chocolate.

They have all kinds of toppings that you combine to make the ultimate bar just for you; up to 5 toppings from categories of Nuts & Seeds,  Fruits, Candy, and Decorations. There is a category called “Other” which consists of cereals, chips, coffee, and (eeww) bacon, to name a few.

Some of the more unusual toppings are potato chips, flax seeds, teddy grahams, Goji berries, and oregano.

Here are some popular bars:

S’more Bar

Up and At ’em bar: Milk Chocolate, Ground coffee, caramelized rice krispies, banana chips, real bacon, cinnamon toast cereal

My combinations would be white chocolate with toffee, and coconut…dark chocolate and dried cranberries, and cinnamon…milk chocolate with peppermint pieces…milk chocolate with pretzels and toffee pieces.

Shipping is a low $4.95 per order, so I am going to concoct a few and report back soon!
